Moana Research is fortunate to be part of the Dementia project looking at Samoan Families with Dementia. This is led by Dr Fuafiva Fa’afau from Pacific Health, the School of Population Health, University of Health and in collaboration with the Lidia Research team and Brain Research New Zealand CoRE.
The expertise and multiple skill set of the Moana Research team has allowed for team members to be invited onto multiple advisory groups.
All Pacific mums and families want the best for their children and family member and want to protect them from harm, this includes diseases and illnesses. The good news is that many diseases and illnesses can be prevented by getting your child or family member vaccinated/immunised.
