Māori Flu Vaccinations 2020

Flu Vaccinations for 65+ – by ethnicity (as at 15 May 2020)

Hover over each column to see the percentage of vaccinations for the 65+ age group by ethnicity.

Just over half (53%) of all eligible Māori aged 65+ received their 2020 flu vaccination by 15 May 2020. This is higher than the total proportion achieved at the end of the flu season in September 2019 (45%).

It is important to note that these figures exclude vaccinations among patients who did not give consent for their data to be uploaded to the National Immunisation Register (NIR) or where the data has not yet made it on to the NIR. The true rate is estimated to be higher.
