We have a new cohort of 3rd year Bachelor of Nursing Pacific and Bachelor of Nursing students on placement with us at Moana Research for the next six weeks – Ngapoko Samuela, Jessica Van Dorp, Teremaki (Maki) Maata and Kennedy Akaiti.
We would like to thank and acknowledge the work the previous BNP5 students – Paul, Paris, Ilaisaane and Grace – undertook during their time with us, especially helping at the community measles vaccination clinics at St Therese Catholic Church in Mangere, Equippers Church in Manukau and the four days at ASB PolyFest. They were able to promote the importance of having the Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccination among young adults, as well as assist in the post vaccination area once individuals received their vaccination.
We look forward to working with our new cohort as we continue to roll out Community Measles vaccinations clinics in South Auckland. Watch this space or check out our Facebook or Instagram pages for regular updates.
